DYE MATTHEW JAMES MATT Age 87, of Washington, PA, formerly of Coraopolis, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015, at the Greenery in Canonsburg. He was born in Portland, TN, on July 6, 1928, to the late James and Jennie L. (Buntin) Dye. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; his sisters, Fannie Coleman and Hattie Frances White; and his brother, William Carroll Dye. He is survived by his loving sisters, Jessie White Edison of Coraopolis and Clara Coleman of Churchill; also many cherished nieces and nephews. Matt was a retired molder from Shenango, Inc. and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Canonsburg. Visitation Friday 4-8 p.m. at COPELAND'S CORAOPOLIS, 867 Fifth Ave. Further visitation at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1201 Hiland Ave., Coraopolis, PA 15108 on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of Service at 12 noon. Burial will be private in Coraopolis Cemetery.
