NAPOLEON CLARE C. Former Administrative Secretary to Judge Joseph F. Weis, Jr. of the U.S. Third Circuit Court of Appeals, died in Georgia at the age of 100. She was the mother of Sara J. Napoleon, Louis John Napoleon (deceased), Andrea Napoleon Huxley; and mother-in-law of Kandy Chariff. She was the grandmother of Thomas L. Huxley and Julia N. Huxley (Alessio Simonetti); and great- grandmother of Jacob and Nicolas Simonetti. She was a beloved aunt to dozens of nieces and nephews. She was involved with the Pittsburgh Opera Society and spent years volunteering at Shadyside Hospital. Clare was known for her monthly lavish dinner parties, bringing people together around her table for lively conversation. She worked tirelessly at the polls on election days and upon her retirement in 1988, she traveled the world. She was an avid sports fan, following the Pirates and Steelers with gusto. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Sept. 15, 2015, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Cathedral. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. We will miss her laugh and her wonderful smile. She is irreplaceable.
