O'DONNELL JOSEPH J. Age 61, of Fox Chapel, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, September 21, 2015. Proud father of Erin G. O'Donnell, Sean P. O'Donnell, and Liam J. O'Donnell; brother of the late Maureen O'Donnell; son of the late John and Eleanor (Derabasse) O'Donnell; dear friend of Marie Tozzi. Mr. O'Donnell was an accomplished athlete and golfer from the Johnstown area, and managing director and area manager for Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. in Pittsburgh. A charismatic and energetic man, he enjoyed spending time outdoors and being active. He upheld a strong sense of duty to those in need of his help or assistance, and did so without expectation of recognition. Mr. O'Donnell will be missed for his sharp wit, infectious laugh, and his acumen in both business and life. Friends will be received Friday, September 25, 2015, from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at WEDDELL - AJAK FUNERAL HOME, 100 Center Ave., Aspinwall. A Christian Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at 10 a.m. at St. Scholastica Church, 309 Brilliant Ave., Aspinwall.
