
TROJANOWSKI HOWARD F. Of Greenfield, peacefully, on Monday, September 28, 2015. Howard was born on July 16,1930, to the late Amelia and Frank X. Trojanowski. When Amelia passed in 1932, Howard was lovingly raised by his aunt, Bertha. Beloved husband of Sarah (Rizzo) for 60 years; cherished father of Deborah Lynn Trojanowski and Karen Ann (Clay) Tomas; brother of Francis (Mary Lou) Trojanowski, Miss Audrey Trojanowski, and Robert (Barb) Trojanowski; brother-in-law of John (Verna) Rizzo and the late Eugene (Louise) Rizzo, Mary Bonnaddio, Kay (Carl) Eckman, Vee (Jim) Rossi, Pfc. Thomas Rizzo and Ann (George) Hudak; loved by a host of nieces and nephews. Howard enlisted in the Army during the Korean Conflict and attained the rank of Corporal. He briefly attended Duff's Business School while working at Minsky Bros. He then proudly served as a Pittsburgh police officer for over 30 years and was a 50 year member of F.O.P. Fort Pitt Lodge #1. Howard was a loving husband, a devoted father, loyal friend, a kind, generous, compassionate man to all he met. He will be deeply missed. Friends will be received Thursday 5-8 p.m. and Friday 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the EDWARD P. KANAI FUNERAL HOME, 500 Greenfield Ave. Funeral will be Saturday at 11:30 a.m. followed by Funeral Mass at St. Rosalia Church at 12 noon. Send condolences post-gazette.com/gb
