DAVIS SALLIE O. Age 86, of Masonic Village, Sewickley, formerly of Woodland Rd., Edgeworth, passed away Oct. 1, 2015, with her family at her side. Sallie was born in Oakville, KY Jan. 1,1929, to the late Mary "Frankie" Kennerly and John H. Orndorff. She received her Bachelor's degree from Tulane Univ., a Master's and Doctorate from University of Pittsburgh. Sallie was a Professor with Point Park College, Executive Director Family Resources of Allegheny County, Sewickley Garden Club, a member of the Sewickley Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon. She is survived by her four children, Mary (Marc) Levenson, Adele Murphy, Sallie Belle Davis (Joe) Welch and Stephen (Leslie) Davis; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; a brother, William "Ruth" Orndorff; and a sister-in-law, Betty Ordorff. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday 2:30 p.m. Oct. 3, 2015, at the Presbyterian Church of Sewickley, 414 Grant St., Sewickley, PA 15143. Burial will be private and at a later date.
