WHALEN DIANE E. (SCHWARTZ) Age 73, of Gibsonia, passed peacefully surrounded by love on September 30, 2015. Born February 19, 1942, to the late George and Hilda (Fox) Schwartz; she is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Robert Whalen; loving mother of Chad (Holly) Whalen of Allison Park; and cherished Grammy of Decker; she is also survived by her sister-in-law, Arlene (Larry) Schilling of Pittsburgh; niece, Jane; nephew, Jeff; cousin, Terry (Linda) Medwig and numerous additional cousins as well as many friends. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who always faced adversity with a positive outlook and concern for others. No services will be held.
