GORDON MARY LOUISE Mary Louise Scharding Gordon, age 86, of Vero Beach, FL, and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on Sept. 28, 2015. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on April 24, 1929, the daughter of George M. and Hilda (Schmidt) Scharding. She lived much of her life in Pittsburgh working as a school crossing guard. In 1985, she and her husband, Jim, moved to Delray Beach, FL and spent their summers in Hendersonville, NC. They moved to Vero Beach, FL in 2010. Mary Lou is survived by her husband, James K. Gordon; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service was held on October 5, 2015, at Harbor Chase Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility. Send condolences post-gazette.com/gb
