SESTRICH ISABEL M. (AIELLO) Unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, devoted wife of the late George Sestrich and daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine Aiello; loving sister of Anthony Aiello, Elizabeth Oberst, and Mary Ann Petitta; second mom to her nieces and nephews, Diane, Bill (Maggie), David (Linda), Steve (Sheonia), Chris (Roxanne), and Lisa Oberst, and Domenic (Pam) Petitta, Kristen (Ron) Frankovich, and Michael (Samantha Porco) Petitta; also dedicated to her 19 great- nieces and nephews, her great-great-niece and nephew, and her lifelong friends. Our Izzy was a remarkable woman of faith and lived a life full of love and friendships. She was an inspirational teacher for 33 years in the Aliquippa School District where she touched many lives and created strong friendships. Additionally, Isabel was a volunteer of the food bank and lector in the St. Cyril of Alexandria Parish, the secretary of the Northshore AARP and a longtime member of the Javor Croatian Club. Isabel lived life to the fullest and always put her loved ones before herself. Her nurturing love will be etched in our hearts forever. We are comforted in knowing that Isabel is now reunited in the arms of her precious George. Friends will be received Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 2-8 p.m. at the THOMAS P. KUNSAK FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3552 California Ave. at Davis Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Cyril of Alexandria Church, 3854 Brighton Rd., Pittsburgh 15212. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the St. Cyril of Alexandria Foodbank. Send condolences post-gazette.com/gb
