SIMPSON MARILYN BUSER On Monday, October 12, 2015, Marilyn Buser Simpson, passed away, peacefully, at the Baptist Homes in Mt. Lebanon. Beloved wife of Thomas E. Simpson; loving mother of her children, James (Virginia) Buser, Jr., Janet (Thomas, deceased) Hayes and Jeffrey (Robin) Buser and her stepchildren, Keith (Jean) Simpson, Ken (Karen) Simpson and Diane (John) Kunz; delighted grandmother of Kelly, Darren and Brian Hayes, Andrew and Alan Buser, Ryan (Michelle) and Greg (Cara) Simpson, Heather (Michael) Lynch and Leiha (engaged to Scott Lindner) and Kurtis Kunz; great-grandmother of Everett Simpson; married for nearly 40 years to the late James R. Buser, Sr.; preceded in death by her parents, Waldo and Elizabeth Eggers; brothers, Maurice and Robert; and sister, Betty; sister to Ann (Robert, deceased) Dowie and Erma (David, deceased) Graham. An inspirational woman, Marilyn gave unconditional love to her family and was a caring friend. She was an operating room nurse with a degree from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing. She loved dogs, birds, games, puzzles, cooking, golfing, gardening and Pittsburgh sports. She was a poet, musician, artist and seamstress. She had a deep faith in God and was an active member of the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church. Known by all for her kindness, Marilyn will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. Friends received Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. 11 a.m. Memorial Service Monday, October 19, 2015, at Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church (PHCPC), 199 Old Clairton Road, Pgh., PA 15236.
