VAN WHY PAUL S. Age 71, of Murrysville, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Forbes Regional Hospital, in Monroeville. He was born May 11, 1944, in Pittsburgh, son of the late George and Elsie (Ferguson) Van Why. In addition to his parents Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia (Doerfler) Van Why; a brother, George Van Why; and a sister, Claudette Utiss. He is survived by two sons, Shane Van Why of Apollo and Heath Van Why and his wife, Alicia of New Kensington; grandchildren, Becca Kadora (Ben), Vanessa, Lucas, Skyler, Ezra, Stella Van Why and Lisa Cass; a great-grandson, Brayden Kadora; a sister, Doris Harris of Atlanta, GA; and also many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received Sunday 2-6 p.m. at BASH - NIED FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, 724-468-8381. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday 12 noon at Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Murrysville. Interment Services will follow in Verona Cemetery in Oakmont.
