FLEMMING BURCKHARD Age 68, formerly of Ross Twp., died unexpectedly on July 17, 2015, in Farmington, CT. Born in Heiligenhafen, Germany on May 16, 1947, he moved to the US in 1999, married Sarah Rowley in 2001 and moved to Pittsburgh in 2004. Having worked 28 years for SMS, also in Hasenclever and Eumuco, he retired as General Manager of SMS Elotherm. Avid sailor, fine athlete, good friend, devoted husband and loving father. Surviving are his wife, Sarah; children, Ellen, Andrew and Dillon; sister, Ute Wolfgarten (Friedel); and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is at H.P. BRANDT FUNERAL HOME, 1032 Perry Hwy., Fri., July 24, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Memorial Service is at Northmont UPC, 8169 Perry Hwy., 15237 on Sat., July 25, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., lunch to follow.
