FRISCH JOHN CALVIN Age 92, of South Park, formerly of McKeesport and Pleasant Hills, peacefully on Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Devoted husband of Helen for 73 years; loving father of John Robert Frisch and Joan (Don) Gorman; proud grandfather of Michelle Marsalek, Dawn Okwu, Lindsey Haber, Eric and Rebecca Frisch; great- grandfather of Olivia Frisch, Nathaniel Okwu, Samantha and Jillian Marsalek; brother of Dorothy Frisch; son of the late Dagney and Larz Frisch. John received a degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Mechanical Engineering after serving his country in the army during WWII. He was successful in his field, becoming president of his last multi-national engineering firm. He worked well past normal retirement age for the enjoyment the work gave him. He was active in furthering advancement educational opportunities for handicapped people. He and Helen traveled the world together and at times lived in Australia, France and Indonesia.
