HEWLETT DAVID J. Age 70, retired Navy, died at his home on Monday, July 6, 2015. He was born December 19, 1944, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Helen and Howard Hewlett, Sr. David and his bride of 45 years, Mary J. Hewlett, moved to Bucks County in 1985 after serving 20 years in the US Navy where he served as a machinist. Mr. Hewlett was most happy when he was celebrating or visiting with family and friends. His kind heart and fun loving nature brightened the lives of everyone he met. He was the dear brother of Virginia Kotermanski-Schwick and husband, Bernie, Douglas Hewlett, Janet Bubenheim and husband, Timothy, Christine Hewlett-Hayden, Robert Hewlett, Marcy Hewlett and her life-partner, Gail Gamertsfelder, and the late Howard Hewlett, Jr., Romayne and Leonard Hewlett; also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Monique Neault. Respecting his wishes, Mr. Hewlett will have a private burial in Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Peter's Township on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at 11 a.m. with military honors.
