GRUBER WILLIAM F. BILL Age 87, on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, of Spring Hill. Beloved husband of 62 years to Mary Lou (Wallace) Gruber; loving father of Mary Carol (Gary) Horvath, Rosanne (Dennis) Longo, William (Corinne) Gruber, Jr., Christine Lopez and the late Mark Gruber; grandfather of Jason, Amy, Luke, Maggie, Aaron, Alex and the late Ryan; brother of the late Dolores Yogan and Mildred Hayes. Bill was a WWII veteran in the U.S. Army, he worked for 35 years as a corrective therapist for the VA Hospital, coached girls basketball for 35 years for St. Benedict's Academy. Longtime member of Spring View Athletic Association, an usher at St. Ambrose Parish and a member of the Holy Name Society. A special thank you to Vincentian Home Staff and caregivers.
