FRANCES FREDERICK R. Age 82, of Moon Township, died October 28, 2015, after a brief battle with lung cancer. Son of the late Clara (Winter) Frances and Frederick Frances. Survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Gretta Shearer Frances; father of Frederick R. (deceased) (Betsy) Frances II and Kimberly (Phillip J.) McCahill; Pap to Phillip R. McCahill, Brian (Christina) McCahill, Frederick R. Frances III and Matthew Frances. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He loved his job at US Airways as a crew scheduler for 31 plus years. He loved to fish and buy cars. Fred was a member of the A.R.U.E., Lodge 45 F & AM, American Legion Post #4, and Loyal Order of Moose #609. Visitation Saturday from 2-4 p.m., and 6 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m. at COPELAND'S MOON TOWNSHIP, 981 Brodhead Rd. with Military Honors. Burial will be private in Jefferson Memorial Park.
