BAUER JOHN E. Age 78, of Mt. Lebanon, on Thursday, November 19, 2015. Beloved husband for 49 years of Jeanne M. Schad; devoted father of Lyn Marie (Mike) Cummins of Upper St. Clair and Steven J. (Martina) Bauer of Albuquerque, NM; proud grandfather of Brian and Bethany Bauer and Beckett Cummins; brother of Lois Bauer; brother-in-law of Joanne Hendren; uncle of Daniel Rump, Susan Schlosser, Jeanne Rump-Dunlap, Maryellen Lakwijk and Alan Wayne Hendren. John served in the U.S. Army in Korea, was a graduate of Duquesne University and spent 40 years in quality assurance with the Federal Government. He was a member and instructor with the NRA and had previously taught classes at Community College in quality control. John was an avid reader, photographer and Steelers fan. Friends will be welcomed at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 222 Washington Road, Mt. Lebanon on Friday (today) from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in Our Lady of Grace Church at 11:30 a.m. Interment National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
