HUBER LAURA POOL AGE 47, OF ME...

HUBER LAURA POOL Age 47, of Menlo Park, California, died at home, on November 10, 2015, from complications of advanced cancer. Laura is survived by her husband, Jeff Huber; her children, Max (14) and Grace (12); her mother, Linda Baton Pool of Fox Chapel; her father, Henry S. Pool and his wife, Linda Acheson Pool of Fox Chapel; her sister, Heather Pool of Aspinwall; her brother, Russell Pool of Princeton Junction, New Jersey; her devoted golden retriever, Lucky; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and a large community of friends. Laura grew up in Fox Chapel and graduated from Shady Side Academy and Colgate University. She moved to the Bay Area after college where she pursued a career as a graphic designer. Laura was an extraordinary mother, a wonderful life partner to her husband, Jeff, a devoted daughter and sister, a gifted artist, a fierce tennis player, a talented chef and an exuberant, optimistic and beautiful spirit whose life was cut short far too early. Laura's life was celebrated at the Menlo Church in Menlo Park, California on November 15, 2015. Laura fought a valiant battle against cancer and, until the moment of her death, never, ever gave up the fight.
