
POLLICE DONATO Donato passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 5, 2015, age 95, of Oakland. Born in Gamberale, Italy on October 8, 1920. He served in the Italian Army during World War II from 1939 - 1941, and was a prisoner of war. He was a member of the Saint Lorenzo Society. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Gemma (DePasquale) Pollice; loving father of Nicola (Mary Lou) Pollice, Rose Palmieri, Lidia (Nello) DeFelice, and Mario Pollice; loving grandfather of Daniel Pollice, Irene (Robert) D'Andrea, Laura Jean (Chris) Fassinger, Nick (Christina) Pollice, Mauro (Lindsay) DeFelice, Gemma Pollice, Donato (Cassandra) DeFelice, Nello DeFelice, and Eric (Alyssa) Pollice; loving great-grandfather of Alana, Robert, Anthony, Nina, Zachary, Olivia, Luke, Tonino, Vinnie, Melina, Roman, Lorenzo, Angelo, Rylee, and Lucca; preceded in death by brother, Pete (Mary) Pollice; loving uncle of Christina and Maryanne Pollice; loving brother-in-law of Clelia Sciulli; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
