BOND GEORGE LAURENCE III Of Upper St. Clair, died December 7, 2015. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on August 27, 1940, the son of the late George Laurence Bond, Jr. and Helen Louise Garman Bond. George is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Susan Dorsey Bond; his three daughters, Tracey Dorsey Bond, Heather (David) Down, and Carrie Bond Gordon all of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Evan, Caroline and Benjamin; his sister, Judith (Edward) Bond Clarke of Cazenovia, NY; his brother-in-law, John (Carmel) Dorsey of Moorestown, NJ; as well as his nieces and nephew. George was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Garman Bond. George graduated from the Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ and the University of Pittsburgh (BA). While at the University of Pittsburgh, George was a member of the fraternity, Sigma Chi. After a very successful sales and marketing career in the advertising industry, George became a well respected executive in non-profit fundraising, which he thoroughly enjoyed. George loved playing platform tennis and golf. He also loved spending time woodworking and driving around in his little blue MGB back in the day. He enjoyed reading, going to the movies and Broadway musicals, as well as attending Pittsburgh Steelers and Pitt Panthers football games. Vacationing at Avalon, NJ and Point Chautauqua, NY with his family were long standing family traditions. George was a friend to everyone he knew, a very kind and compassionate man who left us far too soon and will be terribly missed by his family and friends. Per the family's wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Wesley Spectrum Services, c/o The George L.
