GRIMM GERARD J. JERRY, Sr Jerry passed peacefully after a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, age 74, of Scott Twp. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Francis) Grimm; son of the late Louis and Catherine (Hoffmann) Grimm; brother of Thomas J. (Teresa) Grimm and the late Louis L. Grimm, Jr.; loving father of Gerard (the late Katherine) Grimm, Jr., Laura (William IV) Howley and Catherine (Michael, Sr.) Karbowski; cherished Pap of Michael, Lexi and Colin Grimm; Brianna McGee, Marisa and Billy Howley; Jenna, Michael, Jr. and Kaylee Karbowski; loving great-grandfather of Kaylin, Mia and Maura McGee; son-in-law of Bernard Francis and the late Margaret (Cypher) Francis; brother-in-law of Bernard, Jr. (Kim) and the late Thomas (surviving spouse, Joanne) Francis; also survived by his nephew, Brian (Beth) Francis; and great-nieces, Alyssa and Jordyn Francis; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Jerry was part of the family business, Louis L. Grimm Trucking Co., and became president from 1977-1981. After many years in the trucking industry, Jerry joined the Avis Car Rental team where he developed lifelong friendships. Jerry lived a full life and loved to spend his time traveling with family and friends.
