BARANOWSKI JOSEPHINE (MAZUR) Of the 22nd Ward, North Side, journeyed home on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. Born on February 11, 1927, Juza was the beloved daughter of the late Ludwig and Tekla Mazur; the cherished wife of Joseph A. Baranowski. Josephine was the loving mother of Jo Ann (Don) Paradise, Joseph (Janice) Baranowski, John (Eileen) Baranowski and James (Heather) Baranowski. Very proud grandmother of Meaghan, Hannah, Jordan, Ryan and Hayley. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Stella Strack, Frank Mazur, John Mazur and Wanda Zuk. Josephine worked at Pankoff Ford until she became a full- time homemaker and reluctant cook. Her most fulfilling work was the years dedicated to caring for her grandchildren. Wherever she went, Josephine was the life of the party. Whether preparing sandwiches for Meals on Wheels or social events connected to her Church or her husband's many organizations, laughter abounded. Her faith in the love of God lit her life's journey and led her to her Father's arms. Friends will be received on Saturday from 6-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the SCHELLHAAS & SONS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1600 Stone Mansion Drive, Sewickley, PA 15143 (Franklin Park). Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Monday in Incarnation of the Lord Parish at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Vincentian Home, 111 Perrymont Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Please leave condolences at www.schellhaasfh.com. Send condolences post-gazette.com/gb
