WOLF VELMA (ALVEY) Died peacefully in her sleep, with her children around her, at the age of 99. She was born November 20, 1916, in Wheeling, West Virginia, and died December 22, 2015. Preceding her in death wereher husband, Albert Anthony Wolf; her parents, Charles and Melinda (Stine) Alvey. Survived by her children, Beverly Hodder, Albert Wolf, Jr. (Mary), David Wolf and Marilyn Wayne (Greg); nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great - great - grandchildren. Moved to Pittsburgh, PA in 1952, then to Fort Lauderdale in 1977. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2-2:30 p.m. at JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A graveside ceremony will take place immediately following visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
