CAIN CHARLES E. “CHUCK”, Jr. Age 64, of North Side, went home, surrounded by his loving wife and devoted sisters, on Dec. 22, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Charles E. and Mary Louise (Toothman) Cain, Sr.; sister, the late Nancy Magdinec; brother, the late Gary Cain; his uncle, the late Ralph "Frenchy" Cain; and Pappy was welcomed into heaven with open arms by his beloved granddaughter, Braelyn Mae "Marabelle" Swidorsky. He is survived by his daughters, Jessica (Billy Weggs) Cain and Ashley Cain; sisters, Charlotte (Tom) Herman, Carol "Sissy" (Kevin Synowsky) Moore, Candice "Candy" (Brian) Cavanaugh, Tammy (Tommy) Terry, and Terry (Mark) Mazzeo; numerous nieces and nephews; and the two people he lived for, his wife, Teresa (Petro) Cain, and their granddaughter, Sophia Cain. Chuck walked the walk and talked the talk. He helped thousands of people overcome their addiction to drugs and alcohol as Director at Hope Haven ARC House. He fought a long, hard battle with kidney disease with the help of his dialysis family at the VA Medical Center in Oakland. Friends received Sunday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 388 Center Ave., West View. Committal services Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Good Shepherd Cemetery, Monroeville. Military honors will follow. Please offer condolences at www.schellhaasfh.com.
