SAUNDERS BARRY J. Age 70, of West Mifflin, passed away, on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital. Born March 12, 1945, in West Mifflin, he was a son of the late Jess and Bessie (Keffer) Saunders. He was retired from the Bayer Corporation where he worked as an engineer. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Barry was an avid outdoorsman and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He was a very loving and devoted husband and father. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Denise (Brickner) Saunders; and a brother, Rudy Saunders. Barry is survived by two sons, Matthew (Annie) Saunders of Mentor, Ohio, Keith (Claudia) Saunders of Miami, Florida; and two grandchildren, Peyton and Camryn Saunders. Family and friends will gather for visitation on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Rd. Pleasant Hills, PA 15236. A celebration of Barry's life service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
