SOLYAN PAUL Age 87, of McCandless, on July 15, 2015. Husband of Dorothy Garvin Solyan; father of Linda J. (Robert) Dengler, Deborah L. (Julie Turnley) Solyan, and Steven A. Solyan; son of the late Andrew and Victoria Solyan; grandfather of Zachary P. and Ashley Dengler; brother of Nick Solyan and the late Mary Molovich, Helen Schaffer, Susan Hahn, Margaret Billioni, Anna Danchek, Joseph, John, Charles, Michael, George, and Andrew Solyan. Mr. Solyan was a member and past president of the former University Club, a member and past president of the Oakland Rotary Club, AICPA, PICPA, Masonic Blue Lodge, and the Syria Shrine. Paul was a graduate of Sharon High School and Penn State University. After college, he worked at Price Waterhouse and also at the University of Pittsburgh as Comptroller and Assistant Treasurer until retirement.
