HEROCK JOHN J. John "Jack" Joseph Herock, age 89, of the North Hills, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016. Born July 28, 1926, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary Herock. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School and the University of Pittsburgh. A World War II Army Air Forces Sergeant, he married his beloved wife of more than 64 years, Dolores (Griggs) Herock on September 1, 1951. He is survived by his wife, Dolores (Griggs) Herock; children, Elaine Herock, Jacqueline "Jackie" (Mike) Hoyt, Michael (Mary Jo) Herock and John (Lynn) Herock; eight grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and sister, Rosemary. A Memorial Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016, at St. Catherine Of Sweden Church, 2554 Wildwood Road in Allison Park.
