MOLDOVAN RISA CAROL Age 70, died of complications from Crohns disease in St. Charles, IL, a suburb of Chicago, on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. She was born September 10, 1945, in McKeepsort, PA and was the daughter of the late William and Leah Moldovan. Risa graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1967. She was a master painter and lived by a "dessert first" attitude. She is survived by a daughter, Cala (Aaron) Brown; and granddaughter, Ella Leah Brown; as well as many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bert M. Moldovan. A Remembrance Ceremony will be held in her honor on Saturday, January 23, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. - Noon, with a service at 11:00 a.m. at The Homewood Cemetery Chapel, 1599 South Dallas Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217 where friends will be received.
