SCHWESINGER FREDERICK W. Age 84, of Moon Twp., passed away peacefully, on January 10, 2016, around 8 p.m. He was born in Toledo, OH May 18, 1931, the son of the late Philip and Frieda (Luecht) Schwesinger. With over 20 years of service, Frederick retired from the US Army as a Master Sergeant, and then spent time in the reserves. He retired in 1996 as National President of GBU (Greater Beneficial Union of Pittsburgh). He was also a retired Minister and member of the New Apostolic Church, since 1951. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Margaret (Liedtke) Schwesinger; three children, Gerald Schwesinger (Jeryl), McDonald, PA, Ron Schwesinger (Karen), Bethel Park, PA, Anita Greenleaf, Hopewell Twp., PA; ten grandchildren, Heather, Michelle, Christine (George) Dodworth, Stephen (Melodie), Melissa (Bjoern) Knuettel, Michael, Andrea (Juan), Nicole (Dan) Wilkinson, Jennifer and Alexandra; five great- grandchildren, Maycie, Ramon, Eliana, Maximus and Rowan; and stepbrothers and sister, Hank VanKlingeren, Bill VanKlingeren and Ria Pappas. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Monday, January 18, 2016, from 3-7 p.m. in the HUNTSMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES OF MOON TWP., 1522 Coraopolis Hts. Rd. And also on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, from 5 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 7 p.m. in the New Apostolic Church, 116 W. Manilla Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15220. Private interment will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
