BRIGGS LOIS A. DEE DEE (FOLEY) Age 74, of Ross Twp., passed away surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 17, 2016. Daughter of the late John Pap and Frieda Foley; beloved wife of David G.; loving mother and best friend of Tracie (Joseph) Migliorisi, Jennifer (Keith) Kautzman and Scott Briggs; cherished grandmother of Brooke, Zachary, Tyler, Megan, Blake, Emily, Abbey and Joey; sister-in-law of John Briggs; cherished friend of Dorothy Locchetta. Lois was actively involved with the Pittsburgh Friendship Group, an organization of senior blind and visually impaired adults, at Berkeley Hills Lutheran Church. She was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church as an active parishioner serving on the church council and was the coordinator of the annual Apple Blossom Festival. As was her nature to always think of others, Lois donated her eyes to the Foundation Fighting Blindness in its research of Retinitis Pigmentosa. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016, in Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 638 California Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15202, followed by refreshments in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. Arrangements by the ORION C.
