COLCOMBE DORIS JEAN Died January 12, 2016. She was born to Margaret M. and Charles W. Bruwelheide on November 16, 1926, in Wilkinsburg, PA. She worked in the mailroom of The Union Switch and Signal Company where she met and then married Harry W. Colcombe. Doris was a stay at home mother for 16 years in Monroeville, PA. She lived in Lithonia, GA and worked for the March of Dimes, DeKalb County Council on Aging and GE Capital. During retirement, she lived in Sarasota, FL and Sugar Land, TX were she enjoyed her work as a Stein Mart Boutique Lady. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry; and brother, Charles. She is survived by her daughter, Linda and husband, Scott; grandsons, Christopher and William Barto. According to her desire, she will be inurned with Harry in the Houston National Cemetery for a private service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your local Alzheimer Charity.
