GOLIAS VARVARA Age 86, of Bridgeville, PA, passed peacefully with her family by her side, on Saturday, January 23, 2016. Born on December 12, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Lucille and George Federoff. Loving wife of the late Richard Golias for 65 years; beloved mother of Pamela Golias of Mount Lebanon, Jeffrey (Lorena) Golias of Venetia and Ron (Robin) Golias of Venetia; grandmother of Alexis, Jacob, Kaitlin, Mitchell and Jared. Varvara had a passion for painting, reading and going to the theater. She was an excellent cook and loved all animals. Varvara was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and worked as a bacteriologist at the Presbyterian University Hospital before starting a family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at noon at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 740 Washington Ave., Bridgeville, PA 15017, (412) 221-5132.
