HOAG ELIZABETH MARY (FULTON) BETTY Age 91, of Mt. Lebanon, PA, formerly of Upper St. Clair, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016, surrounded by her loving family at her home. Betty was the loving wife of 65 years to the late William R. Hoag; beloved mother of William, Jr., Robert (Catherine) II, Thomas (Judy), Richard (Carole), and Michael (Susan); cherished grandmother of Robert III (Kate), Christine, Theodore (Elissa), Ava, Marra, Bethany Salmen (Kenneth), Caroline, Kimberly, Megan, Amy and Wade; caring great- grandmother of Robert IV, Starla, Natalie Salmen and Theo; devoted and loving sister-in-law to Mary Alice Harrison and the late Edith Hires-Siegfried and Catherine Sissy McGowan; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was known for her resilient compassion and constant dedication, most importantly to her husband, Bill. She was a lifelong member at South Hills Country Club, a member of 21st Century Club and Women's Western Golf Association. Steady Betty was an avid golfer and proudly accomplished two hole-in-ones during her golf career. In her lifetime, she enjoyed traveling, crafting with her granddaughters, taking pictures of her family and spending time on Sanibel Island, Florida. She will be remembered by her unique sense of humor, love of New Jersey Shore saltwater taffy, unwavering generosity and her stunning elegance and classic beauty.
