DERZIPILSKI GEORGE GINGY Age 85, of Kennedy Twp., after complications, on Sunday, February 7, 2016. Beloved husband of 46 years to Patricia C.; loving father of Gary, Jill Zagari, Denise and Patricia A. Misselwitz; stepfather of James (Ann) Martin of NJ, George Martin of Kennedy Twp., and Corey Martin of SC; 13 grandchildren; also survived by nieces and nephews. George was the proud son of immigrant parents. He was extraordinarily proud of being in the 5th RCT during the Korean War and was the recipient of numerous medals. He was the former commander of American Legion Post 464 and a member of McKees Rocks VFW VESLE POST 418. He loved life and life loved him back. Friends are welcome on Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at the VALERIAN F. SZAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 238 Helen Street, McKees Rocks where services will begin on Wednesday at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies with full Military Honors.
