MACK GARY JOHN Age 75, of Myrtle Beach, SC, died January 31, 2016, peacefully in his home. Born April 23, 1940, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett, Sr. and Mary Mack; and brother, Emmett Mack, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA. Gary served in the US Navy with an honorable discharge in 1965. As a retired Ironworker for Local Union #3, he spent his 25 plus year career helping to add to the Pittsburgh skyline. He was a competitive skydiver with over 500 jumps, enjoyed racing cars, and paragliding. He is survived by his sisters, Jerry Fink and Mary Carol Messmer; the mother of his children, Marjorie P. Mack; and their children, Gary D. (Dana) Mack of Allison Park, PA, Eric G. (Wendi) Mack of Elizabeth Township, PA and Tracy L. Mack of Valencia, PA; grandchildren, Tyler and Kayla Mack, and Emma and Abby Mack. Family and close friends will be received at a memorial luncheon on Friday, February 12, 2016, from 1-4 p.m. at The Clubhouse, in Gibsonia. Send condolences post-gazette.com/gb
