SIMSIC SIDONIA E. Age 74, of Charleroi, died on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016. Born on Oct. 30, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Einar A. and Mary Margaret Riley. She retired as the Director of Administrative Services for HUD. Sid is survived by her son, Mark (Cheryl) Simsic of Rostraver Twp.; sister, Dorothy (Ralph) Wagner of Alaska; and grandchildren, Joseph, Tyler, and Sarah Simsic. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Simsic; brother, Thomas A. Riley; and loving companion, Frank J. Nicolaus. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb., 19, 2016, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, Funeral Director. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, with interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
