TROIANOS CATHERINE (STERIOPOULOS) Of Wilkinsburg, age 94, on Thursday, February 18, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Peter Troianos for 35 years; loving mother of Anastasia (Peter) Vallas of MA and Marie (Thomas) Noll of White Oak; precious grandmother of Thomas P. (Sara) Noll of White Oak, Anthony (Carrie) Noll of WV, Christopher Noll of White Oak, Daniel (Jenny) Noll of NC, Jerry (Vanessa) Vallas of NY, and Naomi (Robert) Courtemanche of MA; great- grandmother of Nicole, Matthew, Landon, Zachary, Alexander and the late Thomas Peter Noll, Jr. Also preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Valsamis and Calliope Patarakis; and her brother, Phillip Steriopoulos. Catherine was a retired employee of MSA. She greatly loved children and, in retirement, became a foster grandmother to many children. Catherine also was a devoted Pittsburgh Penguins fan. Friends welcome Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 Linden Ave. at Cable, East Pittsburgh, 412-824-8800 where a Trisagion will be Prayed on Sunday at 7 p.m. Catherine's Funeral Service will be in the Presentation of Christ Greek Orthodox Church "Ypapanti" on Monday at 11 a.m. Additional viewing in Church and a half hour prior to the Service.
