PERRY WILLIAM J. William J. “Catfish” Perry, 83, of Finleyville, died Sunday, February 21, 2016, at McMurray Hills Manor in McMurray. He was born February 1, 1933, in Nottingham Township, Washington County a son of Frank and Anna Smith Perry. Mr. Perry was retired as a supervisor with the former Columbia Gas Company in Bethel Park. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post 613 and Loyal Order of Moose 172, both in Finleyville and Hackett Club. Mr. Perry was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening. Surviving are his wife, Doris Eccard Perry; a daughter, Michelle Murray of Finleyville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Deceased is his first wife, Rebecca Wargo Perry, who died in July of 1996. Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at KEGEL FUNERAL HOME, INC., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Ave., in Finleyville. Private services and interment will be held in Forest Lawn Gardens in McMurray.
