McNEIL WILLIAM J., Jr. William J., 89, of New Kensington, formerly of Oakmont, died Sunday, February 21, 2016. Husband of the late Audrey McNeil and Elizabeth McNeil; father of Larry W. (Vicki) McNeil, Sherry McNeil, Steven (Lisa) McNeil and the late LeeAnn McNeil; stepfather of Cheryl (Tim) Stevens, Joseph (Maria) Burn; brother of Charles (Roseanne) McNeil, and the late Peggy Southworth; five grandchildren; four step- grandchildren and four great- grandchildren survive. Bill was a longtime Oakmont resident, served in the US Navy during WWII and former employee of Edgewater Steel, Oakmont. Friends received Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the BURKET - TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont. Services on Wednesday 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
