DILLON BERNARD “BERNIE” Age 90, of Upper St. Clair, PA, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, February 19, 2016. Born on January 3, 1926, in Turtle Creek, PA, he was the son of the late Mary and John Dillon. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine Dillon for 70 years; loving father of Cindy (Ken) Haus, Darla (Ken) Strolle, Debbie Reuwer, and Lori (Glenn) Robinson; cherished grandfather of Kerry, Brandon, Kyia, Megan, Trae, Lauren, Chase, Matthew, Bryce, Tyler, and Mackenzie; and treasured great-grandfather of Kiley, Cole, Campbell, Kennedy, Logan, Parker, and Savannah; brother of Bill, Jim, Chuck, and Marilyn. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael; and his siblings, Jack, Bob, Eleanor, Betty, Jean, Vi, and Tom. Bernie had a passion for golf, enjoyed watching all sports, and loved traveling to his favorite vacation spot in Sanibell Island. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. Bernie was a proud WWII and Korean War Veteran. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Family and friends are welcome for a Visitation on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at CREMATION AND FUNERAL CARE, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317 (724) 260-5546. A Service with Full Military Honors will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Final respects will take place at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More, 126 Fort Couch Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15241.
