NOONAN THOMAS Age 94, on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, of Swissvale. Beloved husband of 68 years to Agnes (Kambic) Noonan; loving father of Thomas M. (Cindy Kimmerle), Gerald, Carol Elma, Robert (Melania), Lois (Jonathan) Kepes and Sally Melodia (Robert); dear grandfather of nine loving grandchildren; and three loving great- grandchildren. Thomas was the last of a family of 12. Thomas retired as a wireman from Westinghouse electric Corporation, East Pittsburgh. Thomas served his country proudly in the Army during WWII in the 5th Division, A Battery 449th Artillery Anti-Aircraft Battalion. Served in the European Theatre of Operations which included the Invasion of Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge and received five Bronze Stars and the Purple Heart.
