LIPOWCAN MARTHA (STANKAY) Age 87, of Pleasant Hills, passed away surrounded by her children on Thursday, February 25, 2016. Daughter of the late Joseph and Susan Stankay; beloved wife of the late Frank Lipowcan; loving mother of Ray (Mie) Lipowcan, Bill Lipowcan, Carol (Mike) Kucerovy, Joan (Augie) Schumacher, and the late Bob Lipowcan; proud Grandma /Baba of 11 wonderful grandchildren; sister of Joseph Stankay and Vincent Stankay, and the late Elmer, Albert, and Andrew Stankay, and the late Florence Holas; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Martha was a loving and caring wife and mother who devoted her life to her family and home. She especially enjoyed planting flowers in the spring time and tending to them throughout the summer. She will always be remembered having a smile on her face. Family and friends received Sunday, Feb. 28., 2016, from 3-8 p.m., at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, 15236.
