SHERMAN CHARLES D. CHICK Age 85, of Pleasant Hills, passed peacefully at home, on February 23, 2016. Charles was the beloved husband of Marian for 58 years; loving father to his son, Dan (Elaine) Sherman of North Olmsted, Ohio and daughters, Lori (Ray) Yecko of Pleasant Hills, PA and Kim (Kirk) Williams of Wexford, PA; grandfather to Delaney, Christopher and Kevin Sherman, Michael (Jamie) DeAngelis, Heather (Jesse) Stark, Jake, Nick and Jill Williams; great-grandfather to Michael DeAngelis, Kameron and Tyler Pennington. Chick retired from PPG industries after 36 years of service. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. Chick loved spending time outdoors fishing and camping. He was happiest when surrounded by his family and friends. Chick made friends wherever he went. He will be deeply missed by all whose life he touched.
