VETTER MARION (FRACK) Age 88, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Mt. Lebanon, on Saturday, February 27, 2016. Beloved wife of the late David C. Vetter; loving mother of Susan (Daniel) and James (Patricia); cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Christopher), Christine, Claire and Emma; adoring great- grandmother of Ethan and Benjamin. Marion was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on December 11, 1927, the daughter of the late Philip and Helen (Deats) Frack. She graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in 1945 and Grove City College in 1949. She received her M.Ed. from The University of Pittsburgh in 1952 and was an elementary teacher in the Brentwood Schools until 1956. She was an active member of the Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and served on the altar guild. Marion will always be remembered as a nurturing, loving and supportive mother and grandmother, and for her very kind, gentle and sincere nature. The family would like to thank the caregivers and the staff of The Grand Residence and ViaQuest Hospice for the comfort and dignity they provided to her with their care. A Funeral Service will be held at Mt. Lebanon United Lutheran Church, 975 Washington Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15228, on Friday, March 4, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the church or to The Grand Residence, c/o Employee Fund, 45 McMurray Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15241.
