McBANE CAREN MARIE Age 53, of Pittsburgh, died unexpectedly, Sunday, February 28, 2016, at home. She was born August 25, 1962, in McKees Rocks, the daughter of Carl D. McBane of Prosperity and the late Nancy Wilson McBane. Caren graduated from Stowe Rocks High School and Slippery Rock University. She enjoyed canoeing, hiking and the outdoors. Caren was Catholic by faith. Surviving in addition to her father are two brothers, Carl (Julie) McBane of McKees Rocks, Michael (Kimberly) McBane of Avella; two sisters, Collen (Albert) Mayowski of McKees Rocks and Christine (Daniel) Cassidy of Avella; numerous nieces and nephews; one great-niece and one great-nephew. A Memorial Gathering will be held Monday, March 7, 2016, from 2 to 6 p.m. the time of service at WILLIAM G. NEAL FUNERAL HOMES, LTD., 925 Allison Ave., Washington.
