WEST GEORGE V. Age 93, of Robinson, formerly of South Fayette, died peacefully on August 15, 2015. Born February 3, 1922, son of the late Harry and Freida (Arnold) West. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 66 years, Helen (Radulovich) West; and four brothers; loving father of Martin (Fran) West and George E. West; cherished grandfather of Douglas West, Brian (Becky) West and the late Captain Jason (Julie) West; and brother of Helen (the late Dom) Rondinelli. A Veteran of the Battle of the Bulge, George served proudly in the 80th Infantry Division during WWII. He was a proud member of the 80th Infantry Division Veterans Association and held office as a Public Relations Officer for many years. He was also a Mason and member of the VFW and American Legion. George retired from the PRR and Conrail after 41 years of service. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday form 3-8 p.m., with a Pomen Service at 4 p.m., at the WARCHOL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville (412-221-3333) and on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral with Funeral Liturgy, by the Very Reverend Rajko Kosic, to follow at 11 a.m. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH.
