BLUMLING FRANCIS J. HANK Age 83, the dearly beloved husband of 59 years to Lillian (Urbatis), passed away at home to a better life on August 22, 2015. Hank was the loving father of Wayne (LaVerne), Karen (Jim) Byerly; grandfather of Lauren "Nikki" (Sean) Dunkle of Georgia, Wayne B. II (Jessica) of Pittsburgh, Jimmy and Madison Byerly, and the late Briana Byerly; great- grandfather of Aiden and Jackson Dunkle, and Aiden Savage. He was the brother of Bernadette "Bernie" (Tom) Diehl, and the late Helen, Betty, Chuck, Mary and Theresa; brother-in-law of Bob Urbatis; and survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Blumling. Hank served in the US Army Tank Division during the Korean War. Family and friends will be received on MONDAY, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and TUESDAY from 2-7 p.m. at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 1225 Chartiers Avenue, McKees Rocks, where prayers will be offered WEDNESDAY at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Guardian Angels Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow with military honors in St. Martin Cemetery.
