MALINIC IDA (POPLOSKI) On Saturday, August 29, 2015, Ida, age 91, of Lawrenceville, passed away with her family by her side. Caring daughter of the late Louise and Justin Poploski; beloved wife of the late Edward (Ben) Malinic; wonderful mother of Nancy, Pat (George) Cesnik, Jean (Gary Gentile), Tom and the late Eddie Malinic; cherished grandmother of Julia and Adam (Meghan) Cesnik, Lisa, Jordan and Ben Gentile; great-grandmother of Carter and Aubree Cesnik; and sister of the late Justin, Stan and Joe Poploski. While raising her five children, Ida went to work for the city of Pittsburgh for 20 years as a clerk stenographer to enable them to get Catholic education. Ida loved being with her family and friends, playing bingo and going to casinos. She was an active member of St. Kieran's Christian Mothers and an officer of the VFW Post 214 Womens Auxiliary.
