PERRIELLO FRANK C. AGE 85, OF ...

PERRIELLO FRANK C. Age 85, of New Kensington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2015, in his home. He was born on March 16, 1930, in New Kensington, to the late Francesco and Elisabetta DiSevo Perriello, and was a 1948 graduate of Ken-Hi. He served in the Army for four years, during the Korean Conflict, then graduated from Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia, with a Bachelor's Degree. He later received his engineering certification from the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Perriello was owner and operator of Lincoln Fabricating Co. Inc., a structural steel manufacturing company, in Pittsburgh. He rose through the ranks from an engineer until becoming president of the company in 1964. In 1984, he became the owner. Frank was a lifelong member of Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church of New Kensington, and a member of Hill Crest Country Club of Lower Burrell, since 1968. He also belonged to the VFW Post 92 in Lower Burrell and was a board member of Citizens General Hospital in New Kensington. Besides his parents, who were married January 27, 1910, in Italy, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Parana, in 2013; a granddaughter, Hallie Cernicky in 2011; and siblings, Domenic, Rose, Marie, Paul and Teresa. Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Esther M. Leonardi Perriello; children, Frank A. (Patricia) Perriello of Lower Burrell, Elizabeth P. (Gary) Cernicky of Allegheny Township and Jennifer P. (Shawn) Bush of Winter Park, FL; grandchildren, Laura, Michael and Melissa, Dominique, Frank and Hanna, Christopher and Kyle, and Douglass, Cameron and Parker; three great -grandchildren, Catherine, Siena and Bruce; his brothers, Charles Perriello of Alexandria, VA, Joseph Perriello of New Kensington and Nicholas Perriello of Fairfax, VA; and his son-in-law, Tim Parana. Viewing will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015, from 12-3 and 6-8 p.m. in ROSS G. WALKER FUNERAL HOME LTD., 217 Freeport Road, New Kensington, where prayers of transfer will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 100 Freeport Road, New Kensington 15068. Entombment will follow in Union Cemetery Mausoleum, Arnold, where military honors will be accorded by the Vandergrift Veteran's Honor Guard. Those desiring may contribute to Mt.
