Ed was a veteran of World War II and served in the Mighty 8th Air Force based in England. After the war, Ed graduated from Duquesne University and eventually worked as a procurement administrator at Bettis Atomic Power Lab in West Mifflin. CHARLES "CHUCK" COULEHAN Age 79, of Jefferson Hills, died November 28, 2019. Left, not to mourn his death but to celebrate his life, is his wife of 54 years, Maggie. Chuck was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and foster father. He is survived by his five children, Katie (Mark) LaFrance, Paul (Shannon) Coulehan, Colleen (Lance) Luksik, Tim (Meghan)Coulehan, Erin (David) Gill and his 15 grandchildren Nicolas (Lauren), Benjamin (Kate), Emily (Justin), Justin, Ethan, Liam, Nathan, Matthew, Andrew, Brendan, Ryan, Aidan, Charlie, Alex, and Luke. After graduating from Duquesne University in 1961 Chuck worked for the Social Security Administration, the Army Map Service, and the Army Corps of Engineers. He then worked for Westinghouse for 27 years before retiring from the Nuclear Energy Division. Chuck was an active member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church in Whitehall and served as an usher, a member of the Parish Council, and a Eucharistic Minister. He was a big fan of Pittsburgh sports; the Pirates, Steelers, and Pitt and Duquesne basketball, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Margaret Coulehan, and his siblings Donald, Jerome, and Carol. Family and friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, December 2 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. ELIZABETH (LOZAW) "LIBBY" REGAN Of Point Breeze, on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, age 91. Libby, as she was known to her many, many friends, was the beloved wife of the late Charles Regan, to whom she was married for 44 years before his death in 1998. She was the loving mother of Charles Regan, Jr., Beth Regan, and Anne Costello (Bill), and the devoted grandmother to Reed, Charles, Libby, and Cece Costello. She was the older sister to Thomas Lozaw (the late Kathleen), Verene Harvey (Joseph), Jerome Lozaw (Carmella) and the late Pat Lozaw and an aunt to many nieces and nephews. A long-time parishioner of St. Bede Church in Point Breeze, Libby served on its Parish Council and sang for many years in its choir. She and her family took great joy in her piano playing. Libby worked for a decade at Gulf Research Institute. A devoted alumna of the high school at what is now Seton Hill University, Libby also volunteered at St. Bede Church, the Roselia Center, St. Lucy's Auxiliary, and Central Catholic High School. Libby's family wishes to express its appreciation for the many caregivers at Canterbury Place, where she spent the final part of her life. Toni was born on June 26, 1928, in Clairton, Pennsylvania, one of two children, of Rocco A. and Emilia (Rosati) Brusco. She was formerly of Havertown, Pennsylvania near Philadelphia, where she was a long time employee of the Sun Oil Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Davis Duff in 1976. Toni is survived by her brother, Patsy (the late Carol) Brusco of Clairton; one niece, Barbara (Mark) Daniels; one nephew, Michael (Donna) Brusco; and four great nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Jeffrey, Heather and Matthew. SOPHIA P. "SOPHIE" SKOFF Sophia, 100, passed away peacefully in Oakdale on November 30, 2019. She was born on January 8, 1919, and was the loving daughter of the late James and Teresa Troples. She was the beloved sister of James and John Skoff and the late Joe and George Skoff and most recently her sister, Pauline Meehan. She was the cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. Sophie worked in the office for Atlantic Richfield for many years until she retired. She was a longtime member of St. Patrick R. C. Church. She was blessed with a good, long, healthy life and until very recently lived in her own home, cooking and taking care of herself. She will be greatly missed by her family. JANE (PARKER) KONDRAD Age 83, formerly of Irwin, Hempfield Township, died Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Seneca Place, Verona. She was born May 4, 1936, in Butler, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Mattie (Wick) Parker and was also preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Ted” Kondrad. She was a former school teacher in the Hempfield Area School District having spent most of her career at the Manor Elementary School. Although her mind and body failed her at the end, her faith remained strong and she is now at peace with the Lord. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Mark) Lowry of Ponte Verde, FL, Michele (Mike) Santicola of Moon Township, and Debbie (Paul) Gustafson of Cheswick; her grandchildren, Sam, Jake, Abby, and Maddie Lowry, Sarah and Michael Santicola, and Noah and Sophia Gustafson; and a brother, James (Cathy) Parker of Delmont. Born on May 24, 1947, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Adeline DiDomenico. Beloved husband to Laura Hunt DiDomenico formerly “Bernd.” Loving nephew of Gloria (Dan) Castleforte. Dear stepfather to J. Jeffrey Bernd (Carole Bushmire), Vincent (Darlene) Bernd and Rosalyn (Lloyd) Browning. Cherished grandfather to Jonathan and Noah Bernd and Isak and Ian Browning. Loving uncle to Frank (Agatha) Hayes, Angela (Mark) Spynda, Anna (Neil) Mason, Rose Russin (Joe Indyk). Dear great-uncle to Jim (Carrie) Mason, Justin Mason and Ashley Spynda. Great-great-uncle to Alayna Scott. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Clementine Hayes and Nicholas and Angela DiDomenico. He was also the nephew of the late Mary Olive and Clementine Bonnacci, Ralph Amato, Guy Amato and Richard Amato. Richard proudly served in the United States Air Force Reserves as well as the Army National Guard. He enjoyed collecting his treasures, fishing and hunted. He attended WVU and was a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh. Richard worked 30 plus years at PSI Packaging Services in Connellsville where he befriended many of his customers. He was a former member of the Pleasant Valley Country Club for many years. Richard will be dearly missed by all.
