SIUDYLA KENNETH ROBERT August 8, 1954 - June 6, 2016. Ken Siudyla loved to travel; he and wife, Eugenia Sciullo Siudyla took great pleasure in visiting many countries in Europe, as well as enjoying cruises. He also loved family get-togethers, and was an advocate for musical theater and coin-collecting. A native of Glassport, he was a graduate of Serra Catholic High School. Mr. Siudyla, 61, of Castle Shannon, died June 6, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Eugenia; sister, Carolyn (Nick) Larimer of Palmdale, CA; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents, Eugenia and Onufry Siudyla; brother, Daniel; and sister-in-law, Margaret. Friends will be welcomed from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at LAUGHLIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 1008 Castle Shannon Boulevard, Pittsburgh, 15234. DIPPOLD BARBARA LEE On Monday, June 6, 2016, Barbara Lee Dippold, age 83. Beloved daughter of the late Leo F. and Katherine H. Dippold. Barbara is survived by several cousins. She was employed by the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering for 44 years, and in later years worked in the Dean's Office. She had two degrees from the University, a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Arts in English. Upon her retirement from Pitt, she volunteered as a Bereavement Counselor at the Hillman Cancer Center and Forbes Hospice. WILLIAMS BARBARA J. (MEYER) Passed away May 23, 2016, at her home in The Village at Orchard Ridge, Winchester, VA. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 12, 1931, the daughter of the late Karl H. Meyer and Elizabeth (Weber) Meyer. She graduated from Ashtabula High School, Ashtabula, Ohio, in 1949 and Denison University, Granville, Ohio in 1953 with a B.A. in English. Following college, she attended Duke and Spencerian College, Cleveland, Ohio, obtaining her College Secretarial certificate. She retired in 1996 from United States Steel Corp., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as an Executive Secretary after 44 years of service. She was a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Pittsburgh Pirates and ice skating. Throughout her life, she was an avid reader and was an accomplished artist in several mediums, particularly with water colors. She also enjoyed traveling. Barbara is survived by her husband, Durbin B. Williams, Winchester, Virginia; her brother, Robert K. Meyer, and sister-in-law, Judith Meyer, Chesterland, Ohio; her nieces, Lynn (Meyer) Williams and her husband, Mark Williams, Mentor, Ohio, Jeanne (Meyer) Jefferson, her husband, Allan Jefferson and their son, R.J. Jefferson, Chesterland, Ohio; nephew, Scott Meyer, Chardon, Ohio. Her smile would brighten the day of anyone who saw it and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. HERNLEY THOMAS W. Age 79, of Arch Street, McKeesport, died Sunday afternoon, June 5, 2016, in McKeesport Hospital. He was born November 1, 1936, in Scottdale, a son of the late Melvin R. Hernley, Sr. and Eva V. Trout Hernley. Tom enjoyed country western music and wearing his cowboy hats and shirts and also playing what he could on his guitar and singing along. He was always planning his trips to the Jamborees. Tom is gone from our lives, but will always remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, his siblings, Ethel Jane Baker of Kittanning, Kendall Hernley and wife, Lanna of West Mifflin; a number of nieces and nephews; and his sister-in-law, Sara Hernley of Monroeville. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Roxanne Coughenour; two brothers, Melvin R. Hernley, Jr. and Robert J. Hernley. TOIA BRUNO Age 94, of Moon Township, formerly of Brighton Township and Sewickley, died June 4, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospice House following a brief illness. Born January 21, 1922, in Aleppo Township, a son of the late Nicola and Giovanna (Cuda) Toia. He was a 1941 graduate of Sewickley High School and was a Sergeant with the United States Army during World War II. Starting in 1953, he operated a route in the Beaver area with the Jewel Tea Company for 20 years and developed warm friendships with many of his customers. After retiring, he managed a number of Stop N Go convenient stores in the Beaver County area and later he and his wife owned and operated the Chapel Superette in Center Township. He was an active member of St. James Catholic Church, Sewickley, where he participated in the Ushers Club, St. Vincent de Paul Society and served as parish money counter. He was an honorary life member and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus and received a Knight of the Year Award. He was active with Meals on Wheels, and was a charter and life member of Veterans of Foreign War, Post No. 5756. He was also an active member of the Silver Sneakers Fitness Program and a devoted vegetable gardener. Bruno was a man of great generosity, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. In return, he was rewarded with a wide circle of family and friends from all walks of life who loved and cared for him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Dominic, Jasper and Jerry; and three sisters, Rose Linda Villella, Anna Maria Cosentino and Tomasina. Surviving are his beloved wife of 67 years, Josephine (Yankello) Toia; three children, Nicholas Toia (Debbie Friedman) of Pittsburgh, Joseph Toia, West Hanover Township, and Joan Ciotti, Lake Worth, Florida. He is also survived by a sister, Mary Teresa Hatten, Schertz, Texas; two grandchildren, Michael and Abby Toia; three step-grandchildren Jake, Max and Rachael Dizard; two great- grandchildren, Jacob and Isaac; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday, June 9, 2016, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the RICHARD D. COLE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 328 Beaver Street, Sewickley. KLICKOVICH DONALD N. Passed away, peacefully at home, in the arms of his loving wife, on May 10, 2016, age 73, of Windermere, FL, formerly of Bloomfield, Pgh., PA. Preceded in death by his loving parents, Harry and Stella Klickovich; as well as his friend and cousin, Vince Covelli. Don is survived by his best friend and beloved wife of 41 years, Karen (Geraci) Klickovich; loving father of Lisa Dougherty, Donald Klickovich, Jr. and Kristy Byers; devoted grandfather of Macy Caine Byers and Cole Anthony Klickovich; cherished brother of Robert (Joanne), Harry (Pat) and David (Claudia) Klickovich and Carmella (Randy) Marmo; also left behind are cousins, nieces and nephews too numerous to mention who cherished him, and his wife's family who adored him, and very treasured friends. Don was in real estate all his life which was one of his many passions, along with spending time with his wife, traveling extensively, fine dining and most importantly, making those around him laugh. Don ended his long, extraordinarily courageous battle with cancer, always an inspiration to his family, friends, the medical field and many others he came in contact with over the years. He confronted the challenges of life with hope, determination, a smile and always his great sense of humor, even in the most trying of times. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. RUHE Sr. MARIETTA, CDP Age 85, of Pittsburgh (Springhill), died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Sr. Marietta was born April 30, 1931, and baptized Evelyn Anna at St. Joseph's Church in Duquesne, PA. She entered the Sisters of Divine Providence on September 8, 1946. Throughout the next 70 years, she faithfully and joyfully served God and others as an elementary teacher at St. Alphonsus in Springdale, St. Mary's in Sharpsburg, St. Anne's in Castle Shannon and as a high school teacher at Providence Villa and Canevin High School in the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh. Sister Marietta has served the people of St. Paul Cathedral parish for 20 years as a social minister, bringing hope to the lives of those whom she served with a cheerful presence. She was the recipient of the 2009 Manifesting the Kingdom Award from the Diocese of Pittsburgh. Sr. Marietta received a bachelor of education from Duquesne University and an M.A. from Catholic University of America. She was always committed to the goals of Catholic education and parish social ministry. Sr. Marietta was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Ruhe, Anna Roach Ruhe, Hazel Sollars (stepmother) and Helen Bornyek (stepmother). She is survived by her sister, Sr. Jeanine Ruhe, CDP.
